Locale Real Weddings – Jesse & Courtney - Locale Noosa Restaurant and Bar

Courtney and Jesse recently travelled from Melbourne to share their stunning wedding at Locale with 100 lucky guests. Our restaurant was the natural setting for this beautiful couple’s reception, having dined at Locale many times in their relationship.

We are so humbled to share these milestones with them both and hope to host them for many more to come.

We caught up with Courtney and asked her to share her favourite moments and memories of her wedding day.

Tell us the story of how you two met

We are from Melbourne but first formed a connection on holidays in Noosa. We shared dinner at Locale when we were just friends, then again after we got engaged, and of course for our wedding reception. We had the same waitress Kristy throughout all visits which was so special.

Now tell us about your wedding day

Our ceremony was a beautiful sunny day in a relaxed yet stylish setting. Lovebird Weddings organised the styling, and our celebrant was Wendy Withers.

I had my dad walk me down the aisle to Vance Joy – Georgia which was a live acoustic performance by Nick Cunningham. We exchanged short but very personalised vows to one another and finished our ceremony with a very special reading by my uncle. To paint a picture, he is an accountant and we had him read a verse from a Tupac song.

It was a short ceremony as we were keen to walk down the aisle and open the bar!

What were your favourite details of the wedding?

That’s a hard one. The food was a stand out. Our guests loved being able to have a choice in what they ordered. The lighting and intimacy of the space, the flowers, and the dance floor.

Who made your stunning dress?

It was a Pallas Collective Design with a couture fit. I decided against traditional white as I wanted to go with a sandy/gold to match the setting of the beach.
